In Jack and the', there is Jack (aka
Julien Lonchamp), French and living in Dublin. But Jack is not alone on
board, having recorded and performed with Irish, French and Italian
musicians in Ireland and France over the past two years. A one-man band
featuring many collaborations... Why not simply call the band Jack and
the'?
the pop manifesto
The idea? Combining catchy melodies
inspired by 60s' pop with elaborated rhythms borrowed from jazz. The
album was mixed by French producers/bands Orwell, Cascadeur and Variety
lab. The result? A fresh-sounding pop manifesto challenging any music
fan to walk away from future concerts without humming its pocket
symphonies!
